A Deeper Understanding of Yourself
At the heart of my approach is the belief that you do not have to carry everything alone or in isolation.
Why Psychotherapy?
You do not need to be in crisis—or feel that something is deeply wrong—to benefit from therapy. Sometimes it is simply a persistent sense of unease, feeling overwhelmed by personal or professional demands, vague anxiety or low mood, or noticing that you do not quite feel like yourself.
Changes in mood, relationships, confidence, or the ways you respond to stress can be an invitation to pause and become curious about what may be happening beneath the surface.
Psychotherapy creates space to explore your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and consider new ways of relating to yourself, others, and the challenges in your life.
How I Approach Psychotherapy
My approach is primarily psychodynamic, which means we look beyond immediate symptoms to understand you as a whole person. Together, we explore recurring emotional and relational patterns that may influence how you see yourself, connect with others, and respond to difficult life changes and feelings—such as self-criticism, people-pleasing, fear of conflict, difficulty trusting, or feeling disconnected.
This work is not about blaming the past. It is about becoming curious about how your experiences, relationships, and ways of protecting yourself may have shaped who you are today. With greater awareness can come greater flexibility, self-compassion, and choice.
There is a deeply human need to feel heard and understood without judgment. Therapy offers a relationship in which we can explore your experiences together with curiosity, openness, and respect for the person you are and the person you are becoming.
You are not alone.
